Ummm for starters get Zonealarm for a firewall,l have tried about 5 differant ones now and l am currently using Zonealarm pro...cant beat it!!!

it rates No1 in any test done on firewalls and there is a FREE version for home users.

Do yourself a favor and get it

Oh by the way your attacks were probably just port scans anyway
