about what I had with Cinemaster. It would stop/lock just after the light stopped on the DVD drive. With PDVD it would bring up the DVD Player screen, maybe run a movie and then next time start one and lock. That was the CL Driver. Finally it came up with an error after maybe 8 or 10 times of the lock and no go that referenced the CL Driver.Then I had it cornered. My DVD Player on that machine is the Secondary master.
Andy did have a problem with a DVD drive reading and quiting with a burner in the machine(T-Bird set up)He ended up having the DVD slaved to the Primary HDD to fix it. Plextor IDE 12/10/32 burner.
I don't know if there is any issue with the AMD chipset and DMA. But I do have it enabled on Sonny's machine and it's running just fine. There may be an issue with that version of PDVD you have tho..........3.0 fixed something and I can't remember what it was.
