I am running an ABIT KT7A-R with 2 45G 75GXP's.
The array benches over twice as fast as a single drive but for loading games I do not see much of an improvement over that of a single drive. (wondering to myself if I should).

An example is if my frind and I start Tribes2 at the same time the fairly extensive object and lighting files seem to take almost the (within a second) same amount of time to load. (he has the same drive only in a 30G single)

This seems to be true for loading most games. However the raid array seems to kick ass when doing something such as disk defrag "yawn!".

From what I can tell there is really not much improvement in speed for doing the things I normally do with my box.

Would I notice more of a difference if I was using my computer for video editing and the like?

Again, I woluld like to hear other comments on the issue.
