what's the most cost effective AMD setup?

Is it worth the premium to buy DR-DRAM capable mobos for TB and Duron? If I just want to stick with Sdram Mobos, what's the best one for stability and overclockablity? Or should I embrace DR-Dram and DR-Dram capble mobos and totally skip the dead-end Sdram and Sdram-capable mobos?

Bear in mind that I'll eventually migrate to dual-TB setup soon (in less than 6 months), so I need a cost effective solution with solid (not necessary top-flight) performance at this juncture.
