well, it's a 'via apollo pro plus' chipset that supports up to one gig of memory.

actually I don't think the system got slower, but I wanted to ask if there exist such problems with celerons (since I only use AMDs and know nothing about 'em).
my friend probably is just dissapointed that the system still doesn't fly
