Hmmm. I may have been a bit hasty in blaming Linux for my game crashes. After the reinstall of WinME, Serious Sam kept crashing. I thought about it for a bit and I remembered I flashed my BIOS before installing Mandrake. After sneaking about my BIOS, I found I had set my RAM to CAS 2 instead of CAS 3 (which is what I have). I changed it, and now no crashes.

I think I'll start downloading Progeny Linux tomorrow night
