System Update

Subject: System Update Name: HalOfBorg Date: 4/25/2001 4:47:39 PM (GMT-7) IP Address: 208.50.94.66 Message: 1) Replaced stock HS with slightly larger GW. 2) Unlocked CPU (pencil trick) 3) Replaced thermal pad with Arctic Silver II 4) Installed copper shim. 5) CPU STILL runs at 56C! Next step, replace 60X10mm delta fan with 60X25mm fan. Thermaltake has nice looking one. I'll go up from 22cfm to 31cfm. MAYBE that will help. Or, maybe go with Thermoengine. Computer noisy enough. Must have quiet or no leave on to crank RC5! Oh - pencil trick worked fine. (Thanks Dave!) CPU runs great at 1.1G, but running at 1G 'till improve cooling.
