Hello,
I'm a novice with computers so bare with me if you would. I'm running Windows NT 4.0 w/ service pack 6 installed. Everything has been running fine, yet tonight the power when off and the backup (I know, doesn't work if not plugged in) was not in use. Now when booting the computer I get pasted the splash screen and the most of the icons show up but it hangs at that point for about 3-4 minutes. I when get a error message saying a service did not respond and to check event viewer. In the viewer it says that the "Service Control Manager" Event ID 7000 WRQIAM failed to respond. Could someone be so helpful as to help me figure out how to fix this? I'd appreciate any help offered,. Thank you in advance.
