Heck once u startx they all look the same

On older machines both KDE and Gnome require way to much resources...i actually use WindowMaker the most for this reason. Its pretty fast even on a p133 with only 48MB of ram. KDE and Gnome are dogs on that system.

But on this K6-III 450 I'm using gnome...because everyone else seems to be using KDE (gotta be different ya see).

The point is to experiment and have fun with whatever distro ya want to download...they are all free
