It is unfortunate, but I have had to end the Linux experiment for now. None of my games will go any longer than 5 minutes before crashing. This never happened before I installed Linux. I'd go so far as to say that Millenium has been "stable".
So I booted up with a boot disk, typed FDISK /MBR, then rebooted and used Partition Magic to wipe out the two Linux partitions. Very sad. I was hoping to build a slow transition to Linux. I should have done what I said I would do in the past. Build a third PC specifically for Linux/BeOS/etc.
I haven't tried any games yet, but I may end up doing a full reinstall of WinME. I'm not turned off to Linux. I want to try it again. Right now, My WinME PC is my main box and it has to work, period.
