i don't think so. system information under win 98 shows no conflicts and it worked before i loaded the canan lbp-465 windows 98 printing system. i uninstalled it but to no effect. i think it either reset my lpt1 in some way i can't undo OR i fried a bit of it by not using an ieee 1284 compliant bi-directional cable. when i get a chance i'll try re-setting the irq but i don't really expect it to work. After all it worked fine with that irq before i installed the canon drivers. bye, roy |
