I have a DURON 600 and an abbit motherboard and I am use WINDOWS 2000 and I have all drives ATA66 COMPATIBLE and I have all ATA66 CABLES but when I benchmark my hard disk drives they are always very slow at 10MEGABYTES IN A SECOND. MY DRIVES ARE IBM GXP AND OTHER PEOPLE SAY THEY SHOULD BE FASTER SO WHY ARE MINE SLOW. IS IT A CHIPSET PROBLEM?
I have the latest VIA NON BETA DRIVERS AND A DURON 600 + ALL UPDATES FROM WINDOWSUPDATE AND MY MOTHERBOARD SAYS IT IS ATA66!
