I have a Linksys Fast Ethernet card that's giving me trouble. Sometimes when I boot up it can see the network, sometimes it can't. I used winipcfg to look around and the card has a MAC address of 00-00-00-00-00-00. Is that a valid MAC address? Another bit of weirdness is when I look at the DHCP tables on my Linksys router, there are two entries for this computer: one has the 6 double-zero MAC address, another has a 6 double-F MAC address. I've cleared the router's memory several times, but the double entry always returns.
