This page at RIVA Station shows a PowerStrip 3 screenshot of the Kyro II. Notive that the device ID reads "SGS Thompson". Wasn't that nVidia's parent company, back in the NV1/Edge 3D days? I'm pretty sure the "higher-end" versions of the Edge 3D had the oficial NV1, while the 2 MB vard had another SGS Thompson chip. Maybe SGS is just a chip foundry, but I seem to remember nVidia being described as a subsidiary of them at one time.
