Amen for Ben on his Mindspring note. I had Uplink,
(OneMain Company ISP), for eight years without a
problem. Earthlink/Mindspring bought them out!
After they changed Domain Servers, I couldn't get
any of my machines, (5 of them), to reliably
connect to their email servers. (Eudora 4 or 5 and
Outlook). This is using Windows dial-up. I just
didn't want their software on my machine. Their
tech-support couldn't help. Went to a local
provider for 9.95 a month. It's good know things
will work again.
