Actually they do have ads in Google. Click the link below for an example Google search for "advertising". Look at the colored box below "Searched the web for advertising." Notice on the right it says "Sponsored Link". Just underneath that text is another colored box which is an ad. This is why I like Google. The results are great and no "Look at me!" animated gifs and no Punch The Monkey for $20 crap.
