Check out his website, H-Oda! has utilities that can tell you the processor speed, bus speed, multiplier, etc. Look for WCPUID.

Also possible your BIOS can't properly deal with a K6-2/500. If so you may need a BIOS upgrade, although if the machine runs okay and doesn't seem abnormally slow, it's probably running okay. Again, run WCPUID and see what it tells you...
