"The first letter denotes the CPU type. "A" stands for Athlon, "D" - for Duron.
Then goes the CPU clock frequency.
The next letter "A" denotes PGA-packaging.
The next symbol stands for the CPU Vcore: "M" stands for 1.75V, "P" - for 1.7V.
After that you can see the maximum die temperature: "S" means 95C, "T" - 90C.
The one but last number is the L2 cache size. "3" stands for a 256KB L2 cache, "2"- for 128KB L2 cache.
The very last letter is exactly the one to denote the FSB frequency. The CPUs supporting 266MHz bus are marked with letter "C", while the CPUs intended for 200MHz bus - with letter "B". "
