How can you tell where low frequencies are coming from? Low frequency sounds are very hard to pinpoint. I think the reviewer was smoking something. Two subs == more bass volume and != positional bass. As for 5 speaks versus 4, if the price difference is small, go for 5. Otherwise, 4 speaks will do nicely.
