By the number of posted replies to my original message, I can see I made more than a few people angry, for which I apologize.

There are 3 problems I have been having:
1) Monitor does not always power up when mobo powers up
2) System reboots upon loading windows (right before displaying the desktop)
3) System freezes while playing movies or games, or using audio applications.

I am 'running' an AMD 900MHZ on an ABIT KT7
VIA 4in1 SP installed
256MB PC133
Windows 98SE
2 IDE HD's
2 IDE CDROM/CDRW
ATI Rage 128 AGP Graphics
DSI Generic Modem
Adaptec 2906 SCSI Controller
Iomega ZIP
Toshiba CDROM
EMU Sampler
Midiman DMAN 2044 Audio card
Midiman USB Midisport MIDI Interface

I also have a big fan and heat sink though my system and cpu never get too hot.

Some have said my problems might be IRQ related:
00 System Timer
01 Keyboard
02 Programmable Interrupt Controller
03 Com2
04 Com1
06 Standard Floppy Controller
07 LPT1
08 CMOS
09 SCI IRQ used by ACPI bus
10 ACPI IRQ holder for PCI IRQ steering
10 Midman Dman2044
11 Modem
12 Mouse
13 Numeric data processor
14 VIA Bus Master PCI IDE Controller
14 PRimary IDE Controller (dual fifo)
15 VIA Bus Master PCI IDE Controller
15 Secondary IDE Controller (dual fifo)

If anyone needs any additional information I will add it here ASAP.

Thanks in advance for any and all help that is provided. I have been building systems for 10 years as a hobby, and have never had problems like I am right now.

Thanks,
Al
