that problem with the DVD and decoder could easily be the CPU, and after all the previous posts this seems kinda strange.

i have handled a lot of cellies in my day and i will tell you this, some of them are flakey, especially when clocked, AND especially with video stuff.

I will make a bet you have no problems with the decoder card and DVD in the Tbird setup.
