Go into safe mode and make sure winders has found your monitor. Had this blinking cursor problem once and WIN98 forgot the monitor and wouldn't run. geeze, picky, picky.
I change from board to board all the time,without reinstalling windows. It should come out of it. Might have to delete a few things in safe mode so it'll straighten it's act up, but only had one time I had to do a clean install and it was an Antivirus program messing me up. I deleted it in safe and then the damn Winders Reg checker fixed my Registry and I was back to squre 1. So I eneded up with a clean install. Boo Hoo! Broke my record.
