The "components" I think are spacers that act like little shock absorbers to ease the heat sink evenly onto the chip. Your coolermaster should just ease on it, if it's the SocketA version I think it is. Make sure to work the spring clip a bit before installing, so that you don't put too much pressure on the core (possibly cracking it). Also make sure you put some thermal compound on it where it makes contact with the core so that the heat transfers efficiently.
