take a look at the chips, anything that says MTech on it has lately been crap. If you get Mosel or Hyundai chips (O.. , HY) you should be in good shape. Micron are a dangerous breed, they are selling all their rejects to third parties, so you could get good stuff and real crap. If you have any info on what's available, ask again.

In general, PC133 is better but I have seen good quality PC100 outperforming lousy PC133. Another thing I don't know is the price range in Brazil but it may be worth checking out the Mushkin site, they ship pretty much anywhere in the world.
