I've heard that Alienware had to stop taking orders for
DDR systems when none of their Ali-based DDR boards would
pass their in-house quality tests for stability. Apparently
they tried about seven boards from various manufacturers
and none of them passed the tests.
I don't know which exact boards were tried, but it seems
quite odd that none of them would work right. Unless
there was some sort of problem with the chipset.
Has anyone heard anything about this?
