Regarding mouse & keyboard, question:

How much crack do you smoke before playing a first-person shooter? I used to get kicked by poorly-coded Quake2 bot detectors because I side-step and spin so much, but my optical mouse never skips (of course I play my FPSs with fairly high sensivity...)
