I am using ZoneAlarm & no new alerts. When I unplug my modem computer cable the recieve LED stops going off but my network card & HD LED's keep flashing every second.

I have made some changes over the last month to my P166@200 internet system removed orginal ISA network card for the cable modem & the second network card is a PCI 3com
which has been plugged in along time now. I also got rid of the DOS mode filing system & now
running 32 bit windows mode. I also have noticed that PCI steering is active on my 3dcom
network card. If I move the network card the problem may go away, I only 3 PCI slots & the video card is in one of them & its slow enuf now. I may checkout CMOS setup first thou.

Thank again Bob
