Running an athlon t-bird 1Ghz on the asus A7V. No hardware problems. but my mean temperature on the cpu is coming up around 129-130 degrees farenheit. I think that's around 45-50 celsius. Either way, nothing is overclocked, original cpu cooler fan putting out almost 5000rpm, with silicon based heat sink (just a real light, smooth coat on the sink itself).

The temp is accurate, it's from the bios hardware monitor.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm willing to spend a little dough to get it cooler, but I don't want any jet-engine noises in my box, and definitely don't want to be dropping more than a hundred bucks or so.

thanks in advance!
