If someone writes an efficient emulator to allow Windows based games software to run on Linux people will flock to Linux, I honestly think that Windows could be toppled in as little as ten years. Whether it will or not is the $64,000 question.

I will be interested to see whether China can rise above its national priorities sufficiently to provide an OS for the global market. If they do it will be another nail in the coffin of MS's Windows monopoly.
