Everything is working okay, but having some DMA issues. DMA is allowed to be enabled for my cd rewriter, but when enabled, Windoze does not detect the thing. No problem, I turned it off.

However, I need DMA enabled on my DVD-ROM as the hardware specifically calls for it. It gives me a DMA checkbox in the device manager. I check it. It prompts me to restart. I restart and go to the device manager to verify, and voila, the box is cleared.

I've tried switching the drives to opposite ide ports. Before I installed the CDRW, DMA was enabled just fine for the DVD. I have no idea how installing the CDRW to a completely seperate IDE port would have any effect whatsoever. Please help!
