Yep. I was running win98se, and rc5 was only benchmarking at like 2.9mkeys on my tbird 1ghz, everything was constantly freezing and crashing. That was on a completely fresh install after in installed the new hardware. I just reinstalled again, and now i am hitting 3.7mkeys with ease. Everything runs much smoother now, but still, makes me hate windows for the fact that you can get a 'bad install' that still works, but acts like crap. I didnt change anything but reinstall windows off the same exact disk. Anyway, i shut up now.
