Make sure your voltage is set at 2.0 not 2.2 or 2.4.

If your running win9X or ME install a program like Rain or Waterfall pro. If you don't the cpu/heatsink will get very hot in a hurry. My
K6-III 450 did the same thing. The HLT command seriously cools the cpu. If your running NT, win2k, or any unix variant they issue the HLT command by default.
