I have the same settings on my old ABIT BX6. In order to overclock my cpu, I have to disable the speed error check otherwise I get the same error. This setting just beneath the multiplier and FBS settings in the softmenu.

If nothing works, you could always get a hold of a celeron 566 and run it at 850...
