The slot cartridge is nothing more than an AMD Slotket setup (he he which AMD claimed wasn't possible for the T-Bird's and Duron)


The only difference that I am aware of is the use of copper vs aluminum. Slot A is Austin only which means aluminum. Sockets are from either Dresden or Austin which means 50/50 odds of getting copper.

I just didn't want Sledge confusing the Slot-A Bird with a K7 or K75. The cache on both Slot and Socket are identical on die full speed caches.
