If you have a newer motherboard, most likely it can be changed by selecting it through the bios. On others it can be chaged by changing jumpers or fliping a dip switch. Consult the book that came with you moterboard to find out. If you do not have your book try looking up the information from the manufacturers website.

Before you attempt this do some research to find out what is reasonable to expect out of your current hardware. I would at least post a list of your hardware here and ask for suggestions before proceeding. (I am assuming you are new to OCing)With any luck you could be on your way to speedier computing
