At present, the NV20 has rather low yields, TSMC who is the manufacturer is running into problems with the graphics chips. Also, the NV20 will be a tad slower than a standard GeForce GTS but at resolutions above 1880 x 1400 it will start showing its power, that is, about 2x as fast as the GTS2. Anticipated pricing will start at some $600 and $800 for the 128 MB version, respectively. Most of this info was posted yesterday on AthlonMB, the rest of the gist falls under some 3-letter word. I don't see prices coming down as rapidly as one might think it would happen at the release of a new card, though since the NV20, at least for the first few months, will be a specialty ...
