Goes to show you that all Intel has done with their CPU's in the last two generations and variants, NOT MUCH.
I have a PII450 clocked to 600 (133FSB, essentially a PII600EB). Its performance compared to the PIII's of today is commendable, not bad at all. Just as snappy on the desktop, proggies open and work with the same speed, I am hard pressed to see any real difference. Of course, I am not a gamer, so............
Yeah, AMD is definately the way to go now, besides, it helps hone your configuration skills, wink, wink, well worth it for the extra 'pitin' power.
