An IDE RAID controller works like a SCSI adapter for the purpose of booting. If there are no hard drives on the built-in IDE channels, then the system should go right to the RAID card to boot. If there is a hard drive on the normal IDE controller, you will have to go into the BIOS and put "SCSI" before "C" in the entry that controls boot order. |
