I have 2 x Quantum Fireball EX hard disks (5.1GB, 5400rpm) running on different machines. Thinking of putting them together in a raid system but have a couple of queries before spending on the card:

1. Is it possible to boot from the raid combo?
2. Would two 5400rpm HDDs in raid array beat a single 7200rpm drive?
