NV20 is Nvidia's next chipset. Rumors say 2 to 3 times faster than the current GeForce2GTS plus full DirectX8 capability (and Nvidia had a lot to say to Microsoft about what features DirectX8 should contain). Products should be available around March this year.

If you don't feel like waiting, a nice 32meg GeForceMX shouldn't be too expensive yet still fast. Of course, if you do wait, I'm sure a full blown GTS should be fairly cheap starting in March
