Its all about the benjimens.... And what your going to be doing with the machine... if your going to buy the fastest processor out there then you must not want to OC... So money must not be an issue... It seems that AMD is going to be making the T-birds go up to about 1.7ghz leaving some rooom for upgrades... it isnt going to be any benefit to get the DDR until you start surpassing those numbers... DDR memory is going to scale better in perfomance with increased processor speed.. so get the kt7a and your fast processor and kick with it for awhile... as it is there isnt any applications that are going to strain it for some time... worry more about your graphics card purchuse... the new ones are coming
