We had the same problem with Asus A7V + Athlon 900 + Soundblaster PCI128 ... but then we had installed the primary HDD (Maxtor Ultra ATA/100) using the Primary Ultra ATA100 IDE connector on the MoBo and the appropriate 40-pin, 80-conductor IDE cable. Once we had reinstalled the HDD using the Primary IDE on the MoBo instead ... and reinstalled the OS (WinME), everything is working like a charm! Hope this helps! |
