This is easy. Boot up your pc and press "Delete" key on your keyboard when you see the message "press Del to enter SETUP" at the bottom left of the screen. (warning : this message comes quite fast after you turn on you pc, so watch out)

This will bring you into the CMOS SETUP page. Then proceed to "BIOS FEATURE SETUP" menu (warning this can be named differently in different pc). Inside this menu look for "boot sequence" (this is rather fixed name so far). Using page up and dwn key to select sequence which have the CDrom being the first and then C drive. This step cause your pc to look for operating system in the CDrom then the usual C drive, so get your win98 install CD into the drive before you start up your PC.

Next press "ESC" key on your key board to get out to the main menu. Select save and exits. The PC will restart to boot and finally go to your CDrom.

Once the boot up complete, a question will be asked "boot from C ?" or "boot from CD ?" choose to boot from CD, you are then on the way to format your drive (new drive) and setup your window into your hard disk.

(Warning : if your pc is a old system, the above may not work at all, so give it a try)
