I have a AMD K6-2 233 with SIS 530 On b0ard video. The 3d graphics does not want to work.
I have tried installing a new PCI slot, video card but when Windows ME finds the card, the program stalls and will not install drivers.
I have changed the BIOS from AGP to PCI and I can run on the new Pine PT-5968-78 card with SIS 6326 chip in Safe mode, but the driver install program crahes with a note "cmdinst ??? error in wintrust.dll"
Any hints or tricks to either get the old Accelarated in board going or with installing the separate card.
Can you reinstall Window ME over the installed version without losing all the settings?
