Are you serious? I'd buy an 866MHz Athlon over an 866MHz PIII never mind a 1.2GHz Athlon!

Check out benchmarks of Athlons at places like www.tomshardware.com and you'll see what all the fuss is about. Definitely the Athlon.

I also hear the MSI K7T Pro 2 motherboard is excellent (my MSI K7T Pro board is damn good).
