I bought a WD 20 gig ATA-100 hard drive the other day, I hook it up to my 8KTA2 Epox board (which as you prolly know supports ATA-100). Well on ATA-100 it runs slower than ATA-33. I used the western digital udma utility to put the drive to ATA-100, and it recognizes on the Post screen as such. But it runs really slow in Windows. Do I need a special cable or do I have to hook it up a certain way? Any help would be nice.
