I pronounce 'troll' so that it rhymes with 'toll'. This is all confusing though because you could pronounce 'toll' so that it ryhmes with 'pole' which I sometimes do.

Hmmm... well 'soul' rhymes with 'pole' which rhymes with 'roll' which rhymes with 'droll' in England. 'Troll' rhymes with... hmm can't think of anything.

Well anyway - however you pronounce it, a troll is a troll is a troll.
