Random freezes

I have my system up and running, but it freezes or reboots on me all the time, like at least 20 times during a day, usually, while playing diablo 2, or using a program called zMUD, which is basically a telnet application. does this sound like a video card driver problem, or something else? Is my case getting too hot inside, and locking up the vid card, because i have reinstalled all the drivers, and directx. any ideas, thanks!
