I need some opinions.
I have a Asus K7M and was thinking of dropping a Slot A Thunderbird into the thing. The prices are not outrageous even for the 1 ghz version. What would be a better way to go about speed on such a thing. Could I use a gold finger device with a slot A Tbird??? I know that GFD's are supported, but how high do the multipliers go?? I don't think that most (if not all) GFD's offer multipliers that high. Would a GFD even work on the higher end (ie 1ghz) slot A Tbird?? I would love if someone would set me straight on that.

So should I buy a 700-800 TBird and see if I can GFD it up if there are multipliers, or should I just buy a 900-1ghz Tbird and just see if I can up the FSB a little???
