I am running a AMD K6'3 400mhz which i use work and games, I have bought a Pentium Intel PII 300mhz cheap and now in the process of getting a new motherboard for it, I have heard the Intel Chips are better than the old AMD K6 Chips, more Stable.

Would this P2 300mhz be any improvement on my K6'3 400mz as in running like Unreal Tourament or Quake Arena faster in frame rate ?

Would this Pentium PII be better with 3D calculations as in games than my old amd K6'3 400mhz ??????
